Job description
Oracle is seeking an experienced strategy consultant to join its Business Value & Strategy team as a Director (IC5). This role focuses on leading multi-functional engagements with Oracle's most strategic clients across EMEA. The Director will define business strategies, develop business value propositions, and shape transformative technology solutions that align with Oracle's expansive portfolio. This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring strong consulting pedigree, industry knowledge, and the ability to influence C-suite executives. Candidates should have a deep understanding of enterprise technology, particularly cloud, AI/ML, and digital innovation, with experience at top-tier consulting firms or tech enterprises.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead multi-LOB engagement teams including sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture.
- Engage with strategic customers to improve satisfaction and generate opportunities for Oracle.
- Provide direct deal support using knowledge of IT solutions, consulting methods, and strategic analysis.
- Advise senior sales leadership on strategic business and technology topics.
- Develop strategies and actionable roadmaps that integrate latest tech trends with client goals.
- Produce thought leadership and methodologies based on real client engagements.
- Influence decision-makers across customer constituencies to gain alignment on proposed solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical structuring in strategic engagements.
Experience & skills
- 10+ years of experience including several years at a top-tier management consulting firm with strategy/tech focus.
- Additional experience in a senior IT, functional, or strategy role at a tech or cloud company preferred.
- Proven record managing high-performing virtual and cross-functional teams.
- Strong academic backgroundāMBA from a top business school, MSc, or PhD required.
- Experience operating and influencing at the CxO level.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic or French is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in financial modeling and developing/defending large-scale investment cases.
- Passion for technology and digital innovation.
