Job description
The role supports Tamara’s Builders Program as a Design Operations Specialist, ensuring smooth execution and scalability of design processes across product and brand teams. Responsibilities include streamlining and documenting end-to-end design workflows, tools, and best practices, managing the intake, prioritization, and tracking of design requests, supporting operational planning including OKRs, metrics, and delivery tracking for the design organization, and maintaining operational aspects of design systems such as Figma libraries, design tokens, and documentation updates. The position partners with PMO, Product Ops, and Engineering to enhance cross-functional efficiency, assists with onboarding processes, manages vendor coordination, and maintains resourcing dashboards. The role monitors design delivery SLAs and quality metrics through defined operational frameworks. Requirements include 0–2 years of experience in Design Ops or similar operational roles, strong understanding of design tools such as Figma, Notion, Jira, and Confluence, excellent organizational and communication skills, familiarity with design systems and agile product workflows, and detail-oriented process thinking with stakeholder management capabilities.
