The Assistant Director - Client Executive / Business Development (Growth Markets) role at EY in Dubai is a senior leadership position within the Business Development team, focused on driving growth, client satisfaction, and strategic pursuits across key accounts in MENA and Growth Markets. The role is client-centric and market-facing, requiring the ability to leverage EY’s global network to deliver solutions addressing complex client needs across industries such as healthcare, logistics, automotive, telecommunications, aviation, consumer retail, and family business segments. The position involves executing go-to-market strategies, managing account pipelines, and leading high-value pursuits while collaborating closely with service line leaders, Regional Managing Partners, and BD teams. Responsibilities include establishing long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders, acting as a consultative advisor, and identifying opportunities to deliver measurable value through solution-selling approaches. The role requires driving revenue growth through account planning, opportunity management, and participation in complex proposals, presentations, negotiations, and formal tendering processes using established pursuit methodologies. Additionally, the role involves contributing to strategy development by providing market analysis, competitive intelligence, and insights into emerging opportunities, while implementing account management excellence frameworks and participating in revenue planning processes. The candidate is expected to utilize data analysis, AI technologies, and advanced technology solutions to generate strategic insights and support business development decisions. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring junior BD staff, building high-performing teams, and operating effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, multi-country environment with regional travel requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage long-term client relationships at the C-level by acting as a consultative advisor and delivering client-centric solutions
- Drive business development activities including revenue growth, sales strategy execution, account planning, pipeline development, and opportunity management
- Lead complex pursuits including proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and participation in formal tendering processes using pursuit methodologies
- Collaborate with service line leaders and regional stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and strategic growth campaigns
- Provide market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic insights to identify emerging opportunities and inform business decisions
- Implement account management excellence frameworks and participate in revenue planning and pipeline monitoring processes
- Leverage data analysis, AI technologies, and advanced technology solutions to transform data into actionable business insights
- Coach and mentor junior business development staff and client-serving professionals to build high-performing teams
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 10–15+ years of business development experience in professional services or solution-selling environments
- Exhibit proven expertise in account management, pipeline development, opportunity management, and revenue growth strategies
- Show experience selling complex solutions at the C-level across industries such as healthcare, logistics, automotive, telecommunications, aviation, consumer retail, or family businesses
- Possess a graduate or higher degree in business or a related field
- Demonstrate familiarity with tendering processes, proposal development, and pursuit methodologies
- Exhibit ability to analyze data and generate strategic insights using advanced technology solutions including AI technologies
- Show experience working in multi-country and multicultural environments with flexibility to travel within the region
- Demonstrate bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English
