Job description
Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planner for its Fashion division. The Planner will support the broader planning and merchandising strategy by monitoring product performance, ensuring inventory efficiency, and driving profitable stock decisions across all retail channels. This role plays a key part in ensuring the right products reach the right stores at the right time, aligning closely with Buying, Logistics, and Store teams to execute effective range and allocation plans.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure optimal stock availability in the right quantities, locations, and timing to support sales targets.
- Monitor SKU and category-level performance to maintain appropriate stock levels and avoid over/understock situations.
- Plan seasonal clearance strategies and markdowns in line with margin expectations and business KPIs.
- Analyze customer trends and preferences to make informed stock and assortment decisions.
- Generate WSSI and hindsight reports, highlighting performance against plan, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Buying, Store, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth stock flow and replenishment.
- Track warehouse service levels and shipment timelines to ensure prompt delivery and stock allocation.
- Support open communication and follow-up across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely actions.
Experience & skills
- Graduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2ā4 years of experience in merchandise or demand planning, specifically in a retail fashion environment.
- Strong command of inventory analysis, allocation strategies, and seasonal stock management.
- Proficient in reporting tools and performance tracking (WSSI, sales/stock intake reports).
- Excellent English communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple planning activities concurrently.
