Job description
EY is seeking experienced UAE Nationals to join the Audit team in Dubai. The role involves helping clients meet their statutory and regulatory requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting matters. Senior Financial Auditors will contribute technically to engagements, ensure quality assurance, identify business opportunities, and anticipate risks. - Contribute technically to audit engagements and internal projects.
- Build relationships with clients and identify potential business opportunities for EY.
- Focus on anticipating risks and proactively addressing them.
- Ensure client deliverables are of high quality and undergo review before submission.
- Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for clients.
- Provide meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters.
- Assist in improving financial processes and audit quality through innovative approaches.
- Work within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Experience & skills
- Strong academic record including a degree or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience in external audit.
- Track record of experience with a leading international audit firm.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language is considered an advantage.
- Ability to manage audit engagements and meet quality standards.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Commitment to professional development and learning in a globally connected environment.
