Job description
This role is responsible for evaluating and maturing organizations' Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities across the full CTI lifecycle. The Senior Security Consultant acts as a customer-facing expert, delivering strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence support. Responsibilities include analyzing adversary behaviors, evaluating threat intelligence tools and frameworks, delivering intelligence briefings to technical and executive stakeholders, guiding CTI process improvements, and strengthening clients' detection and response capabilities. The position requires 3 days of onsite client-facing work in Doha, within Google/Mandiant’s Intelligence Delivery Services team.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate tools, frameworks, and best practices for tracking advanced threats and adversary TTPs
- Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational research on cyber threats
- Correlate intelligence from various data sources to identify threat activity patterns
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Engage with clients to understand intelligence requirements and deliver tailored CTI briefings
- Guide organizations in maturing CTI processes, tooling, and workflows
- Support monitoring, detection, and incident response teams with relevant CTI insights
- Develop intelligence reports, presentations, and strategic assessments
Experience & skills
- 5+ years in customer-facing cyber security roles (threat intelligence, network forensics, SOC analysis)
- Experience analyzing CTI to support monitoring, detection, and response
- Strong knowledge of CTI frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
- Proficiency with forensic reports, packet captures, malware triage, and security operations
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and enterprise security tools
- Ability to work onsite in Doha 3 days per week
