The Manager – Delivery Management role at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is a strategic position within the Corporate, Wealth & Investment Banking Group (CWIBG) focused on enabling digital innovation and business enablement initiatives across the bank. The CWIBG provides a comprehensive portfolio of corporate banking, investment, transaction banking, and financial market solutions to clients across the MENA region and globally. The role supports the definition and execution of the Group’s digital strategy by developing strategic roadmaps informed by consolidated operational plans from internal and external stakeholders. It involves overseeing the implementation of digital initiatives, measuring performance and progress to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve the expected benefits. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, benchmarking best practices, facilitating workshops with business units, advising senior management and the Digital Programme Office on proposed strategies, leading Product Owners on delivery plans, and managing digital and customer journey evaluation. The role also establishes collaborative work cells to ensure governance and successful delivery of minimum viable products, coordinates post-implementation activities to realize benefits, identifies and mitigates project risks, and represents the Group’s Delivery Management team in Digital Programme Office and Ecosystems Working Groups. The position requires strong analytical skills, financial understanding, project and change management expertise, release management skills, cross-functional team coordination, and experience liaising with senior management and governance committees.

Key responsibilities
- Support the definition of the Group’s digital strategy and develop the strategic roadmap based on operational plans from stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of digital initiatives, measuring performance and ensuring delivery within timeframes, budgets, and expected benefits.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and benchmarking against leading banks locally and globally to inform strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops with clients and business units to stimulate the generation of new ideas for incorporation into the strategy and roadmap.
- Advise senior management and the Digital Programme Office on proposed strategies for assigned projects or verticals and ensure alignment with the overall ADCB digital strategy.
- Lead and advise Product Owners on delivery plans, evaluating digital and customer journeys, and managing the delivery of the Group’s products to expand offerings.
- Establish collaborative work cells, define governance mechanisms, and ensure successful delivery of minimum viable products.
- Coordinate with IT Programme Management Office, Digital Programme Office, work stream leads, and business owners to assess, scope, and prioritize change requests.
- Support the development of business cases including costings, resource, and timeline requirements for obtaining steering committee approval.
- Work with business owners and work stream leads on post-implementation activities to ensure benefits realization according to approved business cases.
- Identify potential risks on assigned projects, formulate mitigation plans, and escalate major risks to the IT Programme Management Office or Digital Programme Office.
- Represent the Group’s Delivery Management team in the Bank’s Digital Programmes, Digital Programme Office meetings, and Ecosystems Working Groups.
Experience & skills
- At least 6 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services delivering digital and/or change initiatives and projects.
- Proven expertise in project management and change management.
- Experience in release management and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Ability to liaise with senior management and governance committees effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and financial understanding.
