Job description

This role supports Google Cloud customers by delivering secure cloud architectures, providing technical guidance on secure foundational implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and prescriptive best practices. The position involves leading cloud security engagements, advising decision makers, managing customer-facing cloud security projects, mitigating attacks across network protocols and secure network design, web application security, authentication, applied cryptography, intrusion detection, incident response and forensics, and automation frameworks. The role also requires collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence Google Cloud products and features, as well as packaging methodologies, best practices, and lessons learned into published assets. The consultant interacts with Sales, Partners, and customer stakeholders to manage project scope, risks, deliverables, and timelines, and travels approximately 30% to support client engagements.
