Job description
UOP is a part of Honeywellâs Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business group, with more than 3,000 active patents and a global presence. It provides reliable technical service and support with expertise in plant operations, asset management, training, strategic and tactical support, troubleshooting, and engineering services. This role involves executing UOP Process Technologies and Sustainable Technology Solutions projects, coordinating across departments, maintaining systems, managing vendors, and supporting sales and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in the project execution of all UOP Process Technologies (UPT) projects and STS (Sustainable Technology Solutions) projects under the guidance of project managers.
- Take the lead in expediting tasks related to project execution, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare and update progress reports and project schedules and identify potential issues that could impact project milestones and quality.
- Responsible for updating and utilizing standard project tools (such as CORA system) to track project progress and financials, risks and opportunities, and billing milestones.
- Work with analysts on SAP Project Systems and Project Control activities where necessary, ensuring reporting is executed in a timely manner.
- Support activities with Treasury and commercial documents relating to Commercial Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and Bonds.
- Assist in managing customer interactions from PO through to final delivery and handover.
- Maintain productive work relations with global Project and Engineering Technical & Skill Centers in US, UK, India and other locations to coordinate work assignments; attend global calls and meetings as required.
- Manage project interfaces: co-ordinate detailed design, procurement, fabrication, and delivery of assigned projects.
- Work with Procurement to help coordinate project subcontracting and external equipment and material purchases.
- Work together with Sales and Sales Support to support Orders and business growth.
- Support Sales for order booking and acceptance, and ensure that export compliance, requisitioning, logistics, GR, invoicing, forecasting are all performed according to standard procedures and planned timelines.
- Support contract reviews, price reviews, spec reviews, bid preparations, invoicing, billing milestones.
- Support sales at events, customer meetings and seminars where necessary.
- Take on Functional Accountabilities as assigned. Participate in functional activities and meetings where necessary.
- Contribute to the learning and coaching of other employees as assigned. Promote an Inclusive & Diverse working environment.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Min 8 years of Experience in Gas / Refining / Petrochemicals industry in project engineering/EPC.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with International industrial Codes and Standards.
- Familiarity with KSA Standards and Saudi Aramco SAMS, 9COM, RVL standards.
- Experience in coordinating project equipment packages and materials.
- Good English and Arabic communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel 20-30% both domestically and internationally.
