Job description

The Senior Security System Engineer at ByteDance is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and upgrade of global physical security and prevention systems such as Lenel, Hikvision, and Avigilon. The role falls within the Physical Security System and Technology Team of the Corporate Services department. This team safeguards workplace security through advanced technologies and manages physical security-related data. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to users, troubleshooting system issues, performing system health checks, guiding internal R&D teams on system integration, coordinating with vendors for issue resolution, attending vendor meetings, executing system upgrades, and validating system enhancements. The engineer will also work closely with internal stakeholders to support and maintain secure and stable operations of large-scale distributed applications and integrated security systems.
