Job description
The Technical Project Manager role at BytePlus, the enterprise technology arm of ByteDance, is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of complex enterprise technical projects to ensure high-quality delivery and customer success. Based in Dubai, the role operates within the Project Management team and focuses on rigorous control of project costs, staffing, schedules, quality standards, and risk mitigation. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, the Technical Project Manager aligns internal resources and cross-functional teams to maximize project value and ensure successful project landing. The position involves close collaboration with front-end business and pre-sales teams to provide technical support, guide client expectations, and help define the strategic direction of new projects. The role requires analyzing client organizational structures, decision-making processes, and digital maturity levels to design and execute tailored delivery strategies. The Technical Project Manager leads cross-functional delivery teams and works closely with client stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of enterprise technology solutions. BytePlus is part of ByteDance, founded in 2012, a global technology company behind platforms such as TikTok, CapCut, and Douyin, with BytePlus focused on delivering innovative technologies and products to enterprises across industries including government, transportation, and telecommunications.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and daily management of technical projects with strict control over costs, staffing, schedules, quality standards, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the primary client point of contact to coordinate communication, align internal resources, and ensure customer success.
- Collaborate with front-end business and pre-sales teams to provide technical support, manage client expectations, and define strategic directions for new projects.
- Analyze client organizational structures, decision-making processes, and digital maturity to develop and execute tailored delivery strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with client stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and successful landing of complex enterprise projects.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in enterprise (ToB) services.
- Demonstrate experience managing complex technical projects involving enterprise technology delivery.
- Apply structured approaches to cost control, staffing, scheduling, quality management, and risk mitigation.
- Exhibit experience working with pre-sales teams and supporting client-facing technical engagements.
- Possess overseas delivery experience within industries such as Government (GovTech), Transportation, or Telecommunications.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand and adapt to new industry business logics and digital transformation environments.
- Maintain professional working proficiency in English supported by prior work experience or certifications.
