Job description
High voltage GIS switching systems for PGHV are installed, repaired and brought into service by this Hitachi Energy specialist, based in Dammam and working on client sites. On site, you represent the company to the client through presence and technical knowledge. Installation and maintenance work is carried out independently, with project deadlines met and the cost-performance ratio kept in view. Safety comes first, including accident prevention measures and the guidelines for work on live system components. Arriving material is inspected for completeness and damage, and non-conformance reports go out where equipment within PG scope is missing or damaged. Sub-supplier installation superintendents get your advice on planning the workforce against the schedule. Red-mark drawings capture every change made during installation. Final installation and commissioning tests, loop checks and completion documentation all need your supervision. Candidates hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, ideally with 2 to 5 years of GIS experience, SF6 GAS-Handling and MS project skills.
