Ooredoo operates across 17 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia, serving more than 68 million customers, and its Kuwait operation alone employs around 1,000 people. This Senior Engineer role sits within Demand & Delivery Management, acting as the technology single point of contact for business units across digital initiatives. You'll convert business requirements into technical requirements, covering feasibility studies, High Level Design and Low Level Design, before handing solutions to the ADM vendor for delivery. Agile and DevOps concepts run through the delivery model, aimed at improving time to market across Digital platforms such as the Mobile App and Portal. SLA and KPI management sit with this role too, alongside vendor governance through the Design and Control board and the Change Approval Board. Siebel CRM carries particular weight here, since the role designs end to end architecture for BSS and OSS telecom solutions, including integrations built on EAI, EIM, Web Services and middleware such as Oracle SOA, OIC and Kafka. You're expected to hold Oracle SOA certification, Siebel certification and a TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification, along with training in DevOps tools and Agile methodologies. Testing coverage runs through system integration, functional testing, UAT and regression before anything reaches production. Vendor management stays constant throughout, from agreeing man days and complexity levels with the ADM vendor to resolving production issues and performance tuning.
