Job description
The E-Commerce Manager at Kempinski Hotel Muscat is responsible for positioning the brand website as the priority distribution channel, optimizing the hotel’s overall digital presence, and supporting the property’s online revenue and brand performance. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date content across Kempinski.com, GHA.com, mobile sites, and third-party portals, ensuring brand consistency across digital channels, and monitoring website performance metrics. The role involves optimizing SEO, managing social media channels, implementing PPC campaigns, producing email marketing campaigns, and analyzing web traffic to maximize bookings and direct web revenues. The E-Commerce Manager collaborates with internal departments including Revenue, Marketing, Sales, PR, and Operations to ensure accurate representation, promotional content execution, and alignment with corporate identity. Regular reporting, user behavior analysis, competitive benchmarking, and website optimization are key aspects of driving the hotel’s online performance and enhancing guest engagement.

- Ensure accuracy of property content and presentation on brand and third-party websites and portals
- Report, analyze, and act upon website statistics using key performance indicators
- Support achievement of website sales and distribution targets
- Maintain consistent brand delivery through social and digital channels
- Update website content, images, and meta tags across all languages according to corporate and CMS guidelines
- Coordinate with Revenue Manager/Director to ensure rate parity across electronic channels
- Assist corporate office in deploying website enhancements and functionality upgrades
- Create and implement promotional content for special offers and packages with Marketing and Revenue teams
- Monitor and optimize the mobile website (m.kempinski.com)
- Analyze budget investment versus ROI for corporate SEO activities
- Prepare and distribute corporate email newsletters aligned with brand strategy
- Monitor social media and online reputation management, ensuring timely responses and consistent brand representation
- Develop and implement e-marketing initiatives to increase qualified website traffic and direct bookings
- Track and report on website KPI, user behavior, and referral sources
- Participate in corporate web-related trainings and brief department heads as necessary
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Web & electronic distribution for hospitality
- Proven track record of increasing hotel website traffic
- Experience with web reporting and analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good keyboard and technical skills
- Ability to analyze website production reports and booking statistics
- Knowledge of hotel revenue management practices and online content standards
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and email campaigns
- Ability to maintain consistent brand identity and messaging across all digital channels
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills for content and campaign management
