Job description
The Performance and Reward Manager at Emirates NBD in the United Arab Emirates implements and manages Performance and Reward policies, programs, and practices across the relevant Emirates NBD Group entity and/or business units, acting as a subject matter expert across Performance Management, Fixed and Variable Pay, Incentive Schemes, Job Reviews, and Benchmarking. The role develops recommendations to support business unitsā needs in hiring, retaining, and engaging employees, and serves as the first point of contact for HR and business stakeholders on generic Performance Management and Reward matters. Responsibilities include supporting implementation and management of compensation structures (Fixed Pay, Variable Pay, Incentive Schemes, Job Reviews, Benchmarking) aligned with organizational goals and objectives; assessing the external landscape and engaging with industry peers to understand competitor, business, and regulatory trends that inform a short- and long-term roadmap of compensation priorities for relevant Business Units; participating in ad-hoc projects involving wider HR and business stakeholders; overseeing performance management, compensation, and benefit processes for relevant Business Units; advising stakeholders on performance management, compensation, and benefit matters; managing the Performance and Reward year-end process for relevant Business Units; and providing direction and policy interpretation to management staff regarding compensation philosophy and practices to ensure consistent policy application. - Implement and manage Performance and Reward policies, programs, and practices across relevant Emirates NBD Group entities and/or business units

- Act as subject matter expert and first point of contact for HR and business stakeholders on Performance Management and Reward matters

- Manage the Performance and Reward year-end process for relevant Business Units
- Provide direction and policy interpretation to management staff regarding compensation philosophy and practices to ensure policies are consistently applied
Experience & skills
- Be able to act as subject matter expert and first point of contact for HR and business stakeholders on generic Performance Management and Reward matters
- Be able to implement and manage Performance and Reward policies, programs, and practices across a banking group entity and/or business units
- Be able to support compensation structures including Fixed Pay, Variable Pay, Incentive Schemes, Job Reviews, and Benchmarking and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Be able to assess competitor, business, and regulatory trends impacting remuneration and inform short- and long-term compensation roadmap priorities
- Be able to oversee performance management, compensation, and benefit processes and manage Performance and Reward year-end process for relevant Business Units
- Be able to provide direction and policy interpretation regarding compensation philosophy and practices and ensure consistent policy application
- Have advanced MS Excel skills and be able to work/manage employee data
- Have local remuneration regulatory knowledge and strong technical performance and reward knowledge
- Be able to participate in ad-hoc projects with wider HR and business stakeholders and present information using strong presentation skills
