Job description
The Partner - People & Change at Wipro Limited is a senior leadership role responsible for driving consulting excellence, business growth, and thought leadership within the People & Change practice across the Middle East region. The position focuses on leading a consulting vertical or client account, developing and maintaining executive-level client relationships, and converting strategic opportunities into sustainable engagements. The Partner oversees end-to-end consulting delivery, sales generation, practice growth, and people development while ensuring client satisfaction and quality outcomes. This includes managing practice utilization targets, driving high-value consulting projects, and ensuring alignment with Wipro’s values and transformation objectives. The Partner also leads business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities, managing sales pipelines, directing proposals and bids, negotiating commercials, and securing large-scale engagements. A key responsibility is to establish Wipro’s consulting presence in target markets, building networks with C-suite clients and generating pull-through opportunities across the company’s broader digital transformation services. Additionally, the Partner is expected to produce industry-leading thought leadership, guide innovation and intellectual property (IP) creation, and represent Wipro at external industry forums. The role involves managing practice capabilities, talent pipelines, and partnerships to sustain business growth, contributing directly to Wipro’s goal of being a top-tier global consulting partner in people, change, and digital transformation.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead the People & Change consulting practice, ensuring strategic growth, operational efficiency, and delivery excellence across client accounts
- Develop and manage strong relationships with senior client executives to drive long-term partnerships and recurring engagements
- Ensure the practice meets utilization and revenue targets through proactive client management and delivery oversight
- Direct large-scale sales activities, bids, and proposals, ensuring alignment with client business needs and Wipro’s service portfolio
- Facilitate cross-practice collaboration to build customized consulting solutions and leverage Wipro’s end-to-end capabilities
- Lead the creation and implementation of strategic business and practice plans with measurable performance outcomes
- Act as a recognized industry leader by producing and sharing thought leadership, insights, and market perspectives
- Oversee delivery quality, ensuring projects meet client expectations, adhere to best practices, and deliver measurable impact
- Manage consulting teams to balance delivery responsibilities and business development initiatives
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, achieving quarterly and annual revenue and order book targets
- Support pull-through revenue opportunities across Wipro’s consulting and technology service lines
- Negotiate commercials, structure deals, and manage client contracts to ensure profitability and compliance
- Drive internal innovation by promoting IP creation, tool development, and knowledge sharing across teams
- Represent Wipro at strategic industry events, analyst briefings, and client-facing conferences to promote the firm’s brand and capabilities
- Manage practice recruitment, capability development, and succession planning to ensure future growth and skill readiness
- Encourage continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging trends in consulting and digital transformation
- Ensure the team adheres to administrative, reporting, and compliance requirements on time and with accuracy
- Contribute to Wipro’s knowledge management repository by sharing methodologies, case studies, and best practices
- Collaborate with alliance partners and industry networks to strengthen Wipro’s market position and client offerings
Experience & skills
- Extensive experience in consulting, focusing on people and organizational change, transformation, or digital strategy
- Proven track record of managing consulting delivery and business development for large-scale clients or industries
- Experience leading sales cycles, managing revenue pipelines, and meeting commercial performance targets
- Demonstrated success in building C-suite relationships and leading strategic engagements in complex client environments
- Ability to develop and execute business and practice plans with clear growth metrics
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary consulting teams and balancing delivery with business development
- Recognized as an industry thought leader with contributions to publications, conferences, or professional forums
- Strong understanding of industry best practices in change management, talent transformation, and digital workforce solutions
- Expertise in contract negotiation, proposal management, and commercial deal structuring
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead innovation, knowledge sharing, and intellectual property (IP) development within consulting teams
- Familiarity with consulting frameworks and delivery methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Design Thinking
- Experience developing alliances and partnerships to expand service offerings and market reach
