Job description
Execute trading instructions for ADIB Securities clients ethically and efficiently while driving sales growth through proactive customer engagement, fostering long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, and ensuring compliance with established policies, regulations, and strategies. Primary duties include executing client orders on the ADX and DFM exchanges in compliance with regulatory requirements; proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and digital channels (LinkedIn, social media); conducting client meetings to understand financial goals, risk appetite, and concerns; enforcing ADIB and ADIB Securities policies, particularly in client onboarding, AML/CTF, KYC, and trade settlement; staying updated on market and regulatory rules, commission structures, and competitor activities to provide informed recommendations; keeping abreast of regulations of DFM, ADX, and SCA; promoting new business by contacting existing and prospective customers to nurture ongoing relationships; assisting in planning and implementation of strategies and goals; monitoring market trends, analyzing portfolios, and suggesting strategic trading actions; representing ADIB at industry events to enhance brand visibility and networking; increasing the companyâs share of each clientâs total trading portfolio and overall affluent client trading activity; ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of grievances and immediate response to customer instructions. Additional duties include identifying and managing significant risks (Financial, Operational, Market, Reputational), monitoring customer accounts to ensure settlement of deals per Market Control norms, actively following up on overdue settlement trades within Market Control rules, and ensuring all correspondence with Market Control, customers, and others is properly recorded and filed. Supervisory responsibilities include managing team members, providing guidance and counseling to maintain motivation, identifying and satisfying training requirements with the Trading Manager, emphasizing professional and ethical conduct, and leading and mentoring junior brokers with performance feedback. Authority initially excludes expense power, with approval powers granted based on management experience and brokerage expertise; reporting and supervision lines are to the Head of Trading.

- Execute client equity orders on ADX and DFM in full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and digital channels including LinkedIn and social media
- Conduct client meetings to assess financial goals, risk appetite, and concerns and translate insights into trading actions
- Enforce ADIB and ADIB Securities policies across client onboarding, AML/CTF, KYC, and trade settlement
- Stay updated on market and regulatory rules, commission structures, competitor activities, and regulations of DFM, ADX, and SCA to provide informed recommendations
- Promote new business by contacting existing and prospective customers and nurturing ongoing relationships
- Assist in planning and implementing strategies and goals to drive sales growth and client activity
- Monitor market trends, analyze client portfolios, and suggest strategic trading actions to increase share of wallet
- Represent ADIB at industry events to enhance brand visibility and build professional networks
- Increase the companyâs share of each clientâs total trading portfolio and overall affluent client trading activity
- Resolve customer grievances in a timely manner and respond immediately to all customer instructions
- Identify and manage financial, operational, market, and reputational risks across customer accounts
- Monitor account settlements per Market Control norms and follow up on overdue settlements within Market Control rules
- Record and file all correspondence with Market Control, customers, and relevant parties to maintain compliance and audit readiness
- Manage, guide, and counsel team members to maintain motivation and performance standards
- Identify and address employee training needs with the Trading Manager and promote professional and ethical conduct
- Lead and mentor junior brokers, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Liaise with the Head of Trading for reporting and supervision matters
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorâs degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Maintain SCA-licensed broker status (mandatory)
- Bring 5â8 years of proven experience in equity trading, portfolio management, and client-facing roles
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, and investment databases
- Possess deep knowledge of UAE/GCC financial markets, including margin trading regulations
- Show a track record of negotiating large-scale trades or managing high-net-worth client portfolios
- Be fluent in English; Arabic is desirable
- Exhibit strong negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset and excellent communication and presentation abilities
