Job description
The Digital Salesperson, Director at Citi Dubai is responsible for the distribution of electronic FX and origination of digital FX solutions across the Middle East and Turkey. This senior client-facing role is part of the UK, Europe, and MEA FX Digital Sales team within the broader Global FX Sales organization. The role involves growing revenue and market share from institutional clients, leading marquee mandate origination, expanding digital strategy engagement, and driving the delivery of new integrated products. Candidates must have experience in electronic FX sales and a strong track record of growing client relationships through commercial acumen and value-added service. Responsibilities include liaising with FX trading and product partners, leveraging data for pricing strategies, leading digital expansion initiatives, and ensuring compliance with the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate integrity, competence, and capability through a Fit and Proper assessment process, as mandated by regulatory bodies. - Distribute Citiās electronic FX liquidity to institutional clients across ME and Turkey
- Drive FX Digital revenue, market, and wallet share from identified clients
- Originate and execute marquee mandates and drive new client acquisition
- Leverage internal and external data to shape pricing strategies
- Collaborate with FX Trading, Product, Technology, and other internal stakeholders
- Enhance client engagement on digital strategy and integrated FX services
- Lead product and service delivery aligned with market and client needs
- Represent Citi in client discussions and industry events
- Assess and manage risk in accordance with Citiās policies and regulatory frameworks
- Support internal communications on competitive market changes and client feedback
- Comply with the UK Certification Regime and demonstrate fitness and propriety through required assessments
Experience & skills
- Experience in electronic FX sales
- Proven track record in growing and maintaining institutional client relationships
- Strong entrepreneurial drive for sales origination and solution development
- Solid understanding of FX markets and digital transformation trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across virtual and multi-regional teams
- Bachelorās/University degree
- Eligibility and readiness to pass the FCA and PRA Certification Regime assessments
