Job description
ENOC's ELM business runs a lubricants plant in Dubai, and this Plant Manager role owns its operations from end to end across the supply chain. Sales orders, inventory levels and third-party toll manufacturing customers all depend on how well this operation is planned and executed. You'll lead the implementation of the Oracle manufacturing system and keep vendor and service provider selection, evaluation and development programs running. Logistics and up-country stock points need their own inventory control and monitoring program, and that sits with this role too. Safety carries real weight here, covering people, equipment and Loss Control, and requiring adherence to Group and Local HSE regulations plus close coordination with HSE authorities. Production planning has to meet sales orders and inventory targets while keeping quality and service levels where they need to be, and resource use across production and delivery gets optimized on a continuous basis. Longer term, you'll formulate and update the Plant's strategic plan in coordination with Sales, Technical and Logistics functions across TFE MEFZE, and manage CAPEX budgets and contracts within agreed timeframes. Staff training, motivation and leadership development also fall to this role, alongside day to day information security responsibilities under the plant's data classification and incident reporting procedures. A university degree in Chemical Engineering is required, along with 10 to 15 years in the lubricant or a similar industry, including at least 7 to 10 years specifically in production, logistics or quality systems and controls.
