Job description
The Senior Manager – Quality and Assurance is responsible for managing the implementation of Quality policies and standard operating procedures aligned with RSG corporate requirements as well as local and international standards and best practices to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations and complies with all relevant regulations. The role oversees all aspects of the Quality Assurance Program aligned with guest experience objectives and targets across Mobility operations. Responsibilities span Quality Management, Health, Safety & Environment, Risk Management, and Business Resilience, including obtaining and maintaining international standard certifications, managing document control libraries supporting ISO certification, establishing auditing and compliance controls, and ensuring continual improvement evidence supporting international accreditations. The position translates Quality Assurance strategy into operational plans, supports annual business planning and budgeting, monitors quality KPIs, conducts quality inspections and audit programs, supports accident and incident investigations with root cause analysis, and ensures lessons learned are implemented. The role advises senior leadership and operations teams on quality matters, supports regulatory compliance, develops quality plans and procedures, delivers quality training and awareness, supports operational performance dashboards, and embeds a continuous improvement culture across all operational areas and customer interfaces. The position is full time and based on site at Amaala, supporting RSG and Mobility Co. vision and mission.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Translate Quality Assurance strategy into operational business plans and monitor execution to achieve functional objectives
- Support implementation of annual business plans, targets, and strategic agenda for the Quality Assurance function
- Contribute to preparation of functional budgets and monitor financial performance against budget
- Support obtaining and maintaining international standard certifications and alignment with RSG Management System
- Manage all aspects of assurance across Mobility operations including Quality Management, HSE, Risk Management, and Business Resilience
- Establish and maintain document control libraries and systems to support ISO certification
- Advise and support the Mobility Director on service delivery standards aligned with Quality strategy
- Monitor and report quality key performance indicators to assess effectiveness and efficiency
- Support investigation of customer complaints, risks, and opportunities and share outcomes with teams
- Participate in quality-related meetings across organizational levels
- Develop, review, and implement Quality Plans, procedures, and documentation in line with company and local requirements
- Establish auditing and compliance controls and produce Quality and ISO reporting with evidence of continual improvement
- Deliver and support quality training, awareness programs, and statutory compliance requirements
- Conduct regular quality inspections, scheduled audits, and quality meetings
- Support accident and incident investigations and recommend preventive actions
- Ensure site-level compliance with quality requirements and promote safe workplace practices
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, contingency plans, and functional reports aligned with governance standards
- Apply safety, quality, and environmental management controls to ensure compliance and responsible operations
- Support development of operational dashboards measuring performance, customer feedback, quality initiatives, and financials
Experience & skills
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in Quality or allied fields
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of practical experience in quality assurance
- Demonstrate experience working on major programs and projects, preferably with developers
- Hold Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification and Six Sigma qualification
- Apply strong knowledge of quality standards, ISO requirements, and quality management principles
- Demonstrate knowledge of local regulatory requirements, international standards, and best practices
- Prepare and maintain quality statistical tracking and trending data
- Conduct incident investigations and perform root cause analysis
- Use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Visio
