Job description
Subsea 7 is seeking an experienced Project Services Manager to join its team in Dubai. In this critical leadership role, youâll oversee the commercial and control aspects of large-scale subsea or engineering projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager/Director, you will manage project controls (cost, planning, documentation, and risk) and contract administration. Youâll also lead cross-functional collaboration and champion best practices in project governance and business system compliance. The ideal candidate brings over 15 years of industry experience, with strong commercial acumen and leadership in complex, multi-site projects.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee project controls and contracts management functions across assigned projects
- Act as key commercial advisor within the Project Management Team
- Ensure standardised systems and processes (BMS, PM7) are applied consistently
- Lead and mentor the Project Services team to deliver best-in-class commercial outcomes
- Ensure integration across planning, engineering, SCM, and operations teams
- Present commercial and performance reports to stakeholders and leadership
- Champion continuous improvement, lessons learned, and safety culture initiatives
- Drive compliance with project governance standards and client expectations
- Support project charter development and supplier collaboration
Experience & skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Law, or Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in project services or commercial roles
- Demonstrated expertise in project controls and contracts management
- Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary project teams
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and analytical skills
- Experience in high-value, multi-site project execution
- Understanding of project governance and business systems compliance (e.g., PM7)
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations to senior stakeholders
