Job description
The Prepaid Segments Analyst at Zain Kuwait supports the development and execution of commercially attractive prepaid voice and broadband products, services, and campaigns for the consumer segment. This role involves defining strategy, analyzing trends, documenting concept papers, value propositions, and product specifications, and ensuring consistent, timely production of initiatives. The Analyst coordinates with multiple internal stakeholders including Marketing (Budgeting, Planning, Customer Insights, CVM, Marcom) and non-marketing departments (Technical, Business Intelligence, Legal, Sales) to ensure successful product launches. Responsibilities include post-launch performance analysis, industry benchmarking, customer journey design, KPI monitoring, and supporting commercial growth initiatives, all while adhering to ISMS policies, environmental requirements, and OH&S standards.

Key responsibilities
- Support the development and documentation of product designs, concept papers, and value propositions, and assist in product production across the marketing pipeline including training and communications.
- Coordinate with Marketing and non-Marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of product and campaign launches.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate profitability, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Research industry trends and international markets to benchmark prepaid products, services, and customer expectations, generating insights for segment management and strategy development.
- Liaise with marketing functions to analyze acquisition trends, customer behavior, and competitive developments to inform product offerings, promotions, and campaigns.
- Verify outputs from Business Intelligence teams to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights based on business knowledge.
- Support market sizing for new product opportunities, evaluating business cases and value propositions to inform commercial strategy and investment decisions.
- Monitor operational and financial KPIs, generating statistical reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure targets are met and providing regular updates to management.
Experience & skills
- Proven ability to build professional relationships leading to strong business performance and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, and strong digital and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into simplified rules for product design and marketing execution without compromising customer experience.
- Experience in customer journey design, negotiation, and stakeholder management to ensure effective product and campaign delivery.
- Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support brainstorming and technical solution ideation.
- Motivated, self-driven, and reliable, with a proven history of success in executing tasks accurately within expected timeframes and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required; Master’s in Business/MBA preferred, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in product, marketing, or prepaid segment operations.
