Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Databricks and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP make up the daily toolkit in EY's Data & AI team in Riyadh. Client goals are the starting point, and the job is to turn them into data and AI solutions that hold up in production. That means designing and deploying scalable data pipelines and architectures, then building machine learning models, NLP solutions and predictive analytics use cases on top of them. Data from multiple sources has to be integrated with quality, consistency and governance in mind. Some engagements are larger data strategy and modernization programmes, covering migration, transformation and visualization in Power BI or Tableau. Work is shared with data scientists, engineers and business consultants, and you also contribute to proposals, solution design and knowledge sharing. Generative AI and data engineering practice move quickly, so keeping up with them is part of the role. Assistant Managers typically bring 5 to 7 years of experience and Managers 6 to 9, ideally in a consulting environment and with exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn.
