Job description
HSBC seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to support Client & Sector marketing initiatives targeting Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) clients. The role focuses on executing marketing activities that enhance client engagement and support revenue growth across key client segments and industry sectors. Working closely with Coverage, Sector Coverage, Strategy, Product and Marketing teams, the position leads execution of strategies designed to strengthen and deepen client relationships, originate new deals, and increase market share. Accountabilities include supporting the global marketing strategy for corporate and institutional clients; engaging with leaders of International Mid-Market, Global Corporate and Institutional segments and relevant industries to identify and prioritize opportunities and connect local requirements with global programs; designing and executing programs that drive acquisition and relationship deepening; supporting development of clear, distinct global value propositions with regional nuances; collaborating with Product & Business Marketing to ensure solutions meet client needs; building tailored narratives combining market insights, current themes (e.g., digitalization) and bank expertise; executing integrated campaigns designed by the Global team and developing regional campaigns where needed; contributing to the global content strategy and managing thought leadership, digital content and client success stories, commissioning local pieces as required; partnering with Events and the business to deliver strategic client forums and executive briefings; tracking and analyzing performance metrics across brand, engagement, pipeline influence, revenue and campaign effectiveness; and using insights to refine strategies while advocating for the client perspective in all go-to-market activity.

- Support the global marketing strategy for Corporate & Institutional clients, aligning activity to commercial growth objectives
- Engage with leaders of International Mid-Market, Global Corporate and Institutional segments and relevant industries to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities and connect local needs with global programs
- Design and execute marketing programs that drive client acquisition, deepen relationships, originate new deals and increase market share
- Support development of clear, distinct global value propositions with regional nuances for segments and sectors
- Collaborate with Product & Business Marketing to align solutions to client needs and build tailored narratives using market insights and current themes (e.g., digitalization)
- Execute integrated campaigns designed by the Global team and develop regional campaigns (with Group agreement) where needs are not covered
- Contribute to global content strategy and manage execution of thought leadership, digital content and client success stories; commission local content as needed (with Group agreement)
- Partner with Events and the business on events strategy, delivering strategic client forums and executive briefings
- Track and analyze performance metrics (brand, client engagement, pipeline influence, revenue, campaign effectiveness) and apply insights to optimize marketing
- Work cross-functionally across regions and business lines to ensure cohesive marketing execution and strong collaboration
Experience & skills
- Graduate Degree (required to obtain a work permit in the UAE)
- At least 7 years’ experience specializing in B2B marketing with a focus on commercial marketing within global banking/financial services or a consulting firm
- Experience preferably within corporate coverage
- Strong understanding of Corporate Investment Banking segments, products and services
- Demonstrated passion for customer centricity and awareness of latest market trends
- Proven ability to deliver effective marketing strategies and campaigns
