Job description
The role is a Financial Markets Sales position covering Financial Institution clients across MENAP and Turkey, focusing on originating, marketing, and executing flow credit products including IG bonds, HY bonds, emerging market credit, and convertible bonds. Responsibilities include supporting and deepening existing institutional client relationships, developing strategies to expand engagement across Flow Credit products, understanding client strategies, objectives, and risk appetites to propose suitable product solutions, and conducting diligent daily coverage of flow business in adherence with standards and procedures. The position requires proactive client engagement, timely delivery of market intelligence, and active collaboration with Trading to facilitate optimum coverage. Duties also include executing trades and orders in line with Standard Chartered procedures and external regulations, ensuring appropriate operational frameworks are in place, taking relationship responsibility for key clients with cross-regional liaison as needed, maintaining updated account plans for fixed income products, identifying growth opportunities, creating action plans, and owning all aspects of service delivery including interaction with support functions. Additional responsibilities involve facilitating operational infrastructure setup such as DEVA, PPG, and CA monitoring, managing extensive stakeholder networks including banks, brokers, dealers, strategic investors, product partners, FM Sales, Structuring, Trading, Research, Compliance, risk, technology, and regulators. The role requires strong communication skills, extensive knowledge of financial markets and credit products, sales expertise, and a banking background is preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Originate, market, and execute flow credit products including IG/HY bonds, emerging market credit, and convertible bonds for Financial Institution clients
- Support existing institutional client relationships and develop strategies to deepen engagement across flow credit offerings
- Understand client strategies, objectives, and risk appetite to propose relevant product solutions
- Conduct diligent daily flow business coverage while meeting required standards and procedures and responding to requests efficiently
- Engage proactively with clients and deliver relevant market intelligence in a timely manner
- Collaborate actively with Trading to ensure optimum client coverage
- Engage with clients to execute trades and orders in accordance with Standard Chartered policies, procedures, best execution rules, and order handling requirements
- Ensure appropriate operational frameworks and infrastructures are in place for efficient and compliant business processing
- Take relationship responsibility for key clients, liaising with Relationship Managers and product specialists across regions to build the global franchise
- Maintain updated account plans for fixed income products, identify relationship growth opportunities, and create action plans
- Take ownership of all aspects of service delivery including coordination with operations and other support functions
- Assist in setting up adequate infrastructure for dealing such as DEVA, PPG, and CA monitoring
Experience & skills
- Hold academic or professional education credentials (degree type not specified)
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial markets products and credit products
- Possess sales tasks and activities experience within financial markets
- Exhibit strong communication skills for managing senior client relationships
- Have a banking background (preferred)
- Show ability to develop, manage, and expand senior-level client relationships across regions
