In 2025, 84% of Doha College's IGCSE Mathematics pupils achieved grades 7 to 9, and 41% reached grade 9. Most of the Sixth Form choose Mathematics, so this Teacher of Mathematics joins a highly valued department. Key Stage 3 follows the UK National Curriculum, Key Stage 4 combines IGCSE Mathematics, Statistics and Further Pure Mathematics, and Key Stage 5 offers International A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Experience teaching A Level Mathematics is desirable. Enrichment extends well beyond lessons, including University of Waterloo and UKMT challenges and Olympiads, Maths Circles, house competitions and problem solving clubs. Contribution to trips, open days, performances, community events and sports fixtures is expected too. All teaching is in English, so a high standard of written and spoken English is essential.
