Job description
The Principal Sales Representative – MSP is responsible for driving sales of Maintenance Service Plans (MSP) across Avionics, Control Systems (Mechanical Components), Engines, and Auxiliary Power Units within the Business and General Aviation (BGA) market. The role requires developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new aftermarket sales opportunities, managing incremental revenue, renewals, and transfers, and working collaboratively with BGA Offering Management, Finance, Aftermarket Business leaders, Electronic Systems and Engine & Power Systems Enterprises, and authorized channel partners. The position involves full oversight of sales processes including quote generation, proposal and contract building, financial analysis, customer presentations, negotiation of commercial terms, and managing sales pipeline health using Salesforce.com CRM. The representative also supports OEM, Dealer, and Service Center sales training, ensuring compliance with Business Aviation Industry standards, authorized channels, and service centers in the region.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue services for new business opportunities and secure annual incremental revenue and new enrollments for the BGA market
- Develop sales strategies and execute plans to increase and recover adoption rates on key Honeywell content-based platforms
- Utilize quote tools, build proposals and contracts, and perform financial analysis
- Conduct customer presentations and negotiate commercial terms
- Manage sales pipeline health using Salesforce.com CRM
- Provide internal, OEM, Dealer, and Service Center sales training for service offerings
- Report to the Sr. Director of Service Sales as the BGA representative for Aftermarket Sales
- Execute all aspects of sales and marketing processes including market analysis, development of market strategies, proposals, financial analysis, and negotiation of commercial terms
- Ensure Annual Operating Plan (AOP) responsibility for Services is met
Experience & skills
- BS or BA in Business, Marketing, Finance, or other relevant discipline; MBA preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer and Product Support
- Six Sigma Greenbelt trained or within six months of assuming the role
- Familiarity with Avionics, Flight computers, radios, COMM/NAV products, SATCOM systems, Engine Systems including HTF Nacelle and Auxiliary Power Units, and Maintenance Program services
- Proven ability in proposal development, customer presentations, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination
- Knowledge of the Business Aviation Industry, authorized channels, and service centers in the region
- Results-oriented with record of accomplishments using influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution
