Job description
The Manager – Savings & Life Products (Banca Takaful) at ADIB is responsible for managing the bank’s Life and Savings Takaful business, including the development of products across customer segments, enhancing cross-sell objectives, and maintaining ADIB’s market leadership in innovation and customer experience. The role involves translating business strategy into actionable initiatives, budgeting, marketing, business development, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory requirements. The manager oversees relationships with external partners such as service providers and Takaful operators, monitors channel performance, analyzes provider activity trends, and identifies opportunities to enhance revenue via digital and traditional channels. Additional responsibilities include preparing dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders, designing staff motivation schemes, conducting product training for front-line staff and partners, creating sales materials, and scanning the market to refine product offerings and distribution strategies.

- Translate bank strategy for life product distribution and cross-sell into actionable initiatives, budgeting, and marketing plans
- Manage relationships with external business partners including Takaful providers and service providers
- Plan and execute marketing strategies and track profitability to maximize revenues
- Drive revenue growth through digital channels for Takaful products
- Analyze provider channel activity trends to identify areas for improvement or support
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Share insights to refine product offerings and distribution strategies
- Coordinate training sessions and product briefings for front-line staff and channel partners
- Develop sales materials, FAQs, and product guides to support sales efforts
- Identify and develop opportunities to expand the Takaful business within different channels
- Conduct market outlook updates and competition scanning
- Design staff motivation schemes and incentive plans
- Monitor monthly and quarterly partner performance across assigned channels and prepare management reports
- Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business with specialization in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the banking or insurance sector
- Strong understanding of Banca Takaful market dynamics and key drivers of change
- Good knowledge of UAE banking practices and regulatory environment
- Analytical thinking and innovative approach
- Strong partnership management skills
- Excellent presentation, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
