The Manager, Insurance & Benefits at Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi is responsible for shaping and delivering a compelling employee value proposition through innovative benefits programs, with a significant focus on employee benefit insurance. This role involves designing and managing competitive benefits programs aligned with Etihad’s Total Rewards philosophy and regional benchmarks, driving automation and efficiency within insurance processes, and collaborating with HR business partners, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. The manager oversees insurance claims, including investigation, approval, negotiation, and settlement, while coordinating with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes analysing claims trends, recommending loss prevention measures, managing cross-functional projects, ensuring policy governance, maintaining intranet content, supporting audits and reporting, and presenting insights to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions. This position requires translating data and insights into actionable narratives that resonate across diverse audiences and contributes to Etihad’s strategic objectives.
