Job description
The Senior Manager, Sales Engineer role supports the sale of advanced fraud prevention and risk solutions by providing deep technical and commercial expertise throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. The role focuses on positioning Featurespace’s adaptive behavioral analytics and ARIC Risk Hub alongside or integrated with Visa Protect solutions, including Visa Advanced Authorization, Risk Manager, Decision Manager, and Visa Secure. The position involves advising clients on combining machine learning-driven fraud models with Visa’s network-based intelligence to improve fraud detection accuracy and reduce false positives across the payment lifecycle. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong understanding of client systems, regulatory frameworks such as PSD2, EMV3DS, and AML, and the ability to translate complex client requirements into actionable technical solutions. The Sales Engineer collaborates closely with sales teams, implementation teams, and clients to deliver compelling product demonstrations, respond to RFPs, support solution architecture, and ensure successful go-live within agreed timelines in a hybrid working environment based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, positioning Risk and Identity solutions including Featurespace adaptive behavioral analytics and Visa Protect integrations
- Articulate the value of ARIC Risk Hub and Visa Protect solutions such as Visa Advanced Authorization, Risk Manager, and Visa Secure in addressing fraud challenges
- Advise clients on combining Featurespace machine learning models with Visa network-based intelligence and decisioning frameworks
- Provide technical sales support by responding to RFPs, preparing technical documentation, and addressing client inquiries
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations showcasing Issuing Risk and Identity solution capabilities
- Maintain awareness of fraud vectors, regulatory frameworks including PSD2, EMV3DS, and AML, and digital payments industry trends
- Translate client requirements into technical solutions that meet and exceed Risk and Identity product expectations
- Collaborate with implementation teams to support successful solution deployment and go-live timelines
- Support direct sales efforts by partnering closely with sales teams during the full sales process
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
- Possess 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, fraud strategy, or technical consulting within fraud prevention, payments, or financial services
- Demonstrate direct experience integrating or working with Visa Protect solutions including Visa Risk Manager, Visa Advanced Authorization, Decision Manager, or Visa Secure
- Have hands-on experience with Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub or similar machine learning-based fraud platforms
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of adaptive behavioral analytics, supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, transaction monitoring, and fraud scoring
- Exhibit technical familiarity with APIs, scripting, data mapping, and solution architecture
- Show exposure to real-time payment schemes, cross-border fraud challenges, SCA, tokenization, and payment security standards
