Job description
Retail application, behaviour, collection and recovery scorecards, wholesale rating models, Basel II PD, EAD and LGD models and IFRS 9 Expected Loss models all need regular checking, and this Assistant Manager helps do that across the Emirates NBD Group. Coverage spans Emirates NBD Bank, Emirates Islamic, Emirates Money, Emirates NBD Egypt and Emirates NBD KSA. Working under the Manager Model Monitoring within Group Risk Management, you will follow the annual monitoring schedule and the established methodology, metrics and benchmarks. Model performance data gets compiled and validated so deviations surface early, with significant anomalies escalated. Data work is hands-on, from extracting and cleansing model inputs and outputs to keeping clear audit trails and data lineage. Internal clients are regular contacts for SAS codes, good/bad tagging and model development specifics such as OOT validation periods. Regulatory guidelines such as MAS, PRA and RBI shape how records are kept for audit and regulatory review. Monitoring reports then translate technical results into insights that risk and finance teams can act on. Candidates should be UAE Nationals with 1 to 2 years of experience and skills in Python, SAS, VBA or SQL, and FRM, CFA or SAS Certification is preferred.
