Job description

The role involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure across servers, storage, networking and virtualization platforms while supporting both on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, ensuring system uptime, performance and reliability, and implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions. The position requires working closely with security teams to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards, documenting infrastructure configurations, participating in upgrade and migration projects and providing off-hours support for critical incidents. The role also involves working within Accenture Technology’s global ecosystem to support innovation at scale using leading-edge tools and industry best practices. Required technical areas include Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and VPN, and exposure to cloud platforms including Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Additional capabilities include scripting with PowerShell or Bash, familiarity with monitoring tools, and optional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, AWS Solutions Architect, Network+ or Security+. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible and knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices are preferred.
