Job description
The Market Leader is a key position within Private Banking Front Office and member of the Executive Committee. The position holder manages all aspects of revenue generation as well as team development and still dedicates about 50-60% of their capacity to client relationship management. The Market Leader typically manages a total portfolio of AED 3.0-10.0 billion generating AED 25 to 100 million in revenue. This role includes managing several teams of Relationship Managers, each sub-managed by Team Leaders, and assumes full responsibility for the Market's Net New Money and Revenue budget.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and assign individual team members' Net New Money and Revenue targets.
- Guide the team members to achieve their growth targets and directly support in critical and high-volume client relationships.
- Monitor the team's performance and develop countermeasures if necessary.
- Assign potential own prospects to team members for them to develop them to become clients of the bank.
- Manage own book of select few large volume clients (if applicable).
- Constantly liaise with the Private Banking Investments Team to enhance Investment offering tailored to the clients' requirements.
- Ensure that team members conduct quarterly account reviews in liaison with the allocated Investment Advisor in order to increase the overall share of Investments.
- Facilitate strong partnerships throughout the entire Private Bank and other ENBD business lines, including close collaboration with the Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management.
- Work with Private Banking Executive Committee members to identify and hire seasoned Relationship Managers to join ENBD Private Banking.
- Identify training and development needs of Team Leaders, monitor their performance and ensure their continuous professional development.
- Gain knowledge of the Market's most important clients and develop risk mitigating actions.
- Promote a culture of Teamwork within the Unit by encouraging cooperation amongst Private Bankers.
- Actively participate in strategic projects and business development initiatives across the Wealth Management platform.
- Liaise with Investments team to enhance existing and develop new products.
- Identify potential to enhance business processes and procedures and liaise with Business Development unit to translate those into tangible projects.
Experience & skills
- MBA in Finance or Bachelorās degree
- CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications (Desirable)
- Possess strong knowledge of assets & liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management and investment products, along with comprehensive understanding of compliance, due diligence, anti-money laundering regulations, and basic legal structures such as offshore accounts & trusts.
- Foster an entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity within the team by leading by example, inspiring junior team members and successfully developing oneās own client portfolio.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Financial Services
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
