Panda Retail Company is hiring an Accountant for its Revenue & Costing function in Jeddah, providing financial information to management through research, analysis and reporting on accounting data. Asset, liability and capital account entries get prepared by compiling and analyzing account information, and every financial transaction gets documented accurately as it happens. You'll recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options, then summarize current financial status through balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other reports. Financial transactions get substantiated through document auditing, and accounting controls stay in place through policies and procedures that get prepared and recommended as needed. Discrepancies get reconciled by collecting and analyzing account information, while financial security stays protected through database backups and adherence to internal controls. Payments get prepared by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements, and accounting procedure questions get answered by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Special financial reports get put together by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends, all while keeping financial information confidential to maintain customer confidence. Strong Excel skills and solid problem solving and analytical ability round out what this role calls for day to day.
