Job description
The Vice President Onshore Asset & Senior Petroleum Architect is responsible for contributing actively to ADNOC Onshore asset management and supporting and supervising the role of the TotalEnergies Asset Leader in all technical and technology-related activities. The role acts as the main focal point between TotalEnergies and ADNOC Onshore for asset leadership matters and project developments, reviewing OPCO performance and providing structured feedback and guidance. The position represents TotalEnergies as a shareholder in ADNOC Onshore, leading technical discussions, participating in OPCO technical committees, consolidating technical dossiers for major investment decisions, managing contracting approval requests, and ensuring consistency of work programs and budgets. The role oversees KPI dashboards, corporate reporting exercises such as PRIME, PDC, Budget, and Long-Term Planning, and supports obligations under the Master Technology Agreement. The VP proactively advises ADNOC Onshore on production, drilling, operational optimization, CAPEX and OPEX efficiency, project definition and execution, and technology transfer, while monitoring assistance work performed at sole cost and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including ADNOC Upstream, JV partners, and TotalEnergies headquarters.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure full knowledge of and adherence to the Company Code of Conduct
- Prepare and lead technical discussions on behalf of TotalEnergies as a shareholder of ADNOC Onshore with OPCO and JV partners
- Represent TotalEnergies in ADNOC Onshore OPCO technical committees and actively participate in meetings
- Propose and consolidate TotalEnergies objectives for ADNOC Onshore assets including production, CAPEX, OPEX, and financial results
- Consolidate technical dossiers for major investment decisions and coordinate approvals with DIG and headquarters
- Manage contracting approval requests in line with procurement, contracts process, and Delegation of Authority
- Ensure consistency of ADNOC Onshore work programs and budgets and monitor Asset Leader Support Group activities
- Prepare ADNOC Onshore data and reports for corporate exercises including PRIME, PDC, Budget, and Long-Term Planning
- Develop monthly KPI dashboards and internal reporting and communication packages
- Contribute to budget and long-term planning exercises
- Assist the SVP Onshore Oil Asset in fulfilling obligations under the Master Technology Agreement
- Review ADNOC drilling and project activities and propose technical and operational optimizations
- Act as a proactive advisor on production, drilling, operations, and project development optimization
- Monitor and control assistance work performed at sole cost impacting revenue and asset performance
- Liaise with ADNOC Onshore Technology Hub to identify and transfer technologies and best practices
- Support continuous monitoring of OPCO technical performance and propose mitigation measures
- Propose initiatives to optimize CAPEX and OPEX
Experience & skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry
- At least 5 years of prior experience in petroleum architecture roles
- Full autonomy in architecture evaluation and development processes
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas strategy, technical disciplines, contracts, and economics
- Broad technical expertise in upstream oil and gas
- Previous exposure to petroleum architect development roles
- Fluent English language proficiency
- French language proficiency is a plus
