Job description
The Senior Officer - Branch Sales at Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) is responsible for supporting branch sales operations, implementing business plans, and driving sales in accordance with the bank’s strategy. The role involves preparing sector-specific business plans to achieve targeted budgets, managing sales targets, and supporting sales channels. Key tasks include conducting credit analysis and ensuring documentation quality in line with DIB credit guidelines, inputting leads into CRM and tracking follow-ups, generating daily sales and pipeline reports, and maintaining summaries of existing clients for future engagement. The officer must stay updated on product parameters, attend internal and external training, and remain informed on competitor activity and market developments. All sales activities must comply with prevailing regulatory and audit requirements, and the officer must adhere to DIB core values and Sharia principles of Islamic finance.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare business plans and strategies for client sectors to meet targeted budgets and manage sales targets
- Support sales channels in alignment with the bank's sales strategy
- Conduct credit analysis and ensure customer files comply with DIB credit guidelines prior to submission
- Ensure documentation quality and absence of discrepancies in client files
- Input and regularly update leads in CRM to track follow-ups and sales conversions
- Prepare daily sales reports, pipeline reports, and summaries of existing clients for future correspondence and promotion campaigns
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all banking products and parameters, attend training programs, and stay informed on competitor and market developments
- Ensure all booked sales comply with prevailing regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements
- Apply DIB core values and Sharia principles in all sales and client interactions
Experience & skills
- University graduate, preferably in Business Administration or Finance
- Minimum 2–3 years of banking experience, preferably in the mortgage industry
- Proficiency in Islamic product selling
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience in sales operations and pipeline management
- Understanding of Sharia principles of Islamic finance
- Telephone etiquette and professional client communication
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and operations
- Understanding of credit policy and parameters
- Ability to gather and utilize customer insights
- Documentation and reporting skills
