Job description
The IT Enterprise Management Proficient at Omantel Muscat is responsible for delivering proficient-level enterprise IT services, ensuring stable, secure, and optimized operations across core platforms. The role encompasses administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems including Citrix, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, PKI, Forcepoint, and ShareFile. Key activities include troubleshooting complex system, application, and infrastructure issues across on-prem and cloud environments, monitoring and reporting enterprise service performance and utilization, ensuring governance and compliance, executing upgrades, patches, and service requests, and collaborating with security, network, and application teams. The position requires providing expert technical support, acting as an escalation point, managing cloud services with hyperscale providers, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting audits, and actively contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the Enterprise & Infrastructure team.

Key responsibilities
- Perform administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems including Citrix, Active Directory, Azure, MS Exchange, Office 365, PKI, Forcepoint, Certificate management, and ShareFile services
- Troubleshoot complex system, application, and infrastructure issues across on-prem and cloud environments
- Monitor and report on enterprise service performance, utilization, and costs, and propose optimizations to improve efficiency
- Support governance, documentation, compliance activities, and standard operating procedures
- Execute upgrades, patches, incident handling, and service requests across enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to ensure secure IT operations
- Provide expert technical support and act as an escalation point for the IT Helpdesk
- Support governance activities with hyperscale and cloud providers including service utilization, licensing compliance, and billing oversight
- Provide operational support by handling incidents, service requests, and change activities related to enterprise applications
- Maintain accurate documentation of enterprise environments, configurations, licenses, and operational procedures
- Participate in internal reviews and audits to ensure alignment with governance, licensing, and cost optimization frameworks
- Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the Enterprise & Infrastructure team
Experience & skills
- B.S in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT operations
- Proficiency in Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Domain Controller, Office 365, Azure, PKI, Forcepoint, and ShareFile
- Knowledge of ITIL and PMP frameworks
- Experience managing enterprise and cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud
- Strong troubleshooting, incident handling, and service request management skills
- Experience with system upgrades, patch management, and operational optimization
- Ability to maintain documentation, support governance, and participate in audits
- Effective collaboration with security, network, and application teams
- Experience providing escalation-level technical support
