Job description
Weekly and monthly maintenance plans set the rhythm of this job, and much of the rest of the week goes into making sure Supervisors, gardeners and field teams deliver them across the assigned sites. Reporting to the Senior Manager at Botanica, the Red Sea Global subsidiary that supplies greenery to The Red Sea and Amaala destinations, the Manager, Landscape Maintenance runs day-to-day operations. Pruning, mowing, planting, fertilization, weeding and mulching are overseen alongside plant health, where pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies and plant stress need quick corrective action. Irrigation teams look to you for coordination on watering schedules, system issues and water-use efficiency. Site inspections, KPIs, work orders and client observations keep quality visible. On the resource side, the work covers manpower deployment and attendance, materials and machinery, purchase requisitions and POs with Procurement, and validation of operational invoices. Contractors are held to agreed scope, quality and safety standards, and HSE requirements such as PPE and toolbox talks apply on every site. Daily, weekly and monthly reports go up the line, with critical risks and manpower gaps escalated promptly. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management or a related field and 8 to 10 years in landscape maintenance or horticultural operations, with 3 to 5 of those in a managerial or supervisory role.
