Job description
Jumeirah Beach Hotel seeks a PR & Communications Manager to manage day-to-day external communications, support the development and execution of annual communication plans aligned to the brand pillars of service, dining, and design, and deliver integrated campaigns across channels with Marketing, Sales, and E-commerce. The role builds and maintains strong relationships with UAE media and influencers, coordinates creation and dissemination of press releases, listings, and stories, and identifies internal content for corporate sharing. Responsibilities include managing social media strategy and execution (calendar planning, KPI setting, content development, agency coordination, performance analysis), overseeing media events, coaching and developing the Social Media Assistant Manager, ensuring consistent brand messaging, supporting issue management to protect brand reputation, and tracking/reporting ROI and campaign effectiveness. The position requires excellent knowledge of PR practices in luxury hospitality; strong communication, branding, and marketing expertise across traditional and digital channels; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); social media and content creation skills; event management; analytics tools; advertising strategies; and the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, chefs, F&B teams, and corporate offices, with multilingual capabilities beyond English considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day external communications at hotel level and support annual communication plan execution based on brand pillars
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UAE media and influencers, ensuring attendance at hotel events and quality media experiences
- Coordinate creation and dissemination of press releases, listings, and stories; identify internal content for corporate office
- Work with marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to deliver integrated campaigns; support partnerships and sponsorships to drive awareness and results
- Manage social media strategy and execution, including calendar planning, KPI setting, content development, agency coordination, and performance analysis
- Oversee media events, coach and develop the Social Media Assistant Manager, ensure consistent brand messaging, and support issue management to protect brand reputation
- Track and report ROI and campaign effectiveness to stakeholders
Experience & skills
- 4–5 years of public relations experience, preferably within international hospitality, PR agencies, or renowned blue-chip companies
- Strong media contacts across luxury, lifestyle, fashion, and business sectors
- Excellent knowledge of PR practices in the luxury hospitality industry with solid communication, branding, and marketing expertise (traditional and digital)
- Skilled in social media management and content creation with data-driven campaign planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; effective collaboration with executive leadership, chefs, F&B teams, and corporate offices
- Well-versed in event management, analytics tools, advertising strategies, and hotel operations
- Multilingual capabilities beyond English are an advantage
