Job description
Composite parts at ADASI, part of EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi, move from engineering definition into serial production, and this position designs the fabrication processes that get them there efficiently. Fabrication layouts, workflows and manufacturing processes are designed and refined to raise productivity, cut waste and control cost. Prototype manufacturing processes are validated through time and motion studies and MBOM checks before production readiness is confirmed. Labour productivity, equipment efficiency and quality KPIs are monitored to find the next improvement. Engineering, production and quality teams are close partners on process changes and cost reduction. CATIA V5 and Composite Part Design are the preferred tools, used to review 3D models, define and flatten plies and prepare data for laser projection systems. Manufacturing routings, MBOMs and work instructions are created and maintained, often in SAP and ARAS. NCR and MRB support, DFM input and tooling or assembly jig design round out the role. At least 12 years of manufacturing engineering, ideally in aerospace composites, with composite part industrialisation experience, is required.
