Job description
The Entertainment Manager role at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, a luxury lifestyle hotel known for its avant-garde design and creative approach to hospitality, is responsible for overseeing and delivering innovative entertainment experiences aligned with the brand’s fashion-forward and experiential positioning. The role encompasses full program oversight, including the development and management of daily entertainment programs, supervision and motivation of entertainers and support staff, and effective allocation of resources to meet defined entertainment objectives. The position requires active guest interaction to promote entertainment activities and collect guest feedback to continuously enhance the guest experience. The Entertainment Manager ensures strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, ISO standards, and industry best practices. The role also integrates sustainability commitments by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives aligned with the hotel’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives. Additionally, the position holds responsibility for ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations by overseeing proper purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation practices across all relevant departments within the entertainment scope.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage daily entertainment programs in alignment with the hotel’s luxury lifestyle positioning
- Supervise, motivate, and manage entertainers and support staff to ensure high-quality entertainment delivery
- Plan, allocate, and manage resources effectively to achieve entertainment and operational goals
- Interact with guests to promote entertainment activities and actively gather and assess guest feedback
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, health and safety regulations, local legal requirements, international standards, ISO standards, and company policies
- Oversee compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations including purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation practices
- Embed sustainability practices by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and supporting ESG and CSR initiatives
Experience & skills
- Hold a Degree in Hospitality or Entertainment Management
- Demonstrate proven experience managing entertainment teams
- Possess experience in budget and resource management related to entertainment operations
- Ensure ongoing compliance with legal, regulatory, safety, ISO, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Support and align entertainment operations with sustainability, ESG, and CSR objectives
