Kuwait English School is hiring a Mathematics Teacher to plan and deliver lessons that fit students' needs, interests and abilities. Teaching follows the prescribed curriculum, with progress assessed regularly and accurate records kept. Parents hear from you about how their children are doing, and a positive, organised classroom matters as much as the lesson content. Beyond the classroom, the role includes after-school clubs, student supervision, departmental and staff meetings and ongoing professional development. Pay ranges from US$23,378 to US$61,368 per year depending on qualifications and verified experience. Expatriate teachers receive an annual airfare allowance, furnished accommodation or a housing allowance, health insurance, a KWD 200 settling-in allowance and a 50% tuition discount, subject to eligibility. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mathematics, secondary education mathematics or a related field, with a teaching qualification or license preferred. One to two years of experience is preferred, and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
