Job description
Agility Logistics Parks is seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager - Facility Maintenance based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, operational reliability, and maintenance of the facility, including building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The position manages a team of maintenance technicians, develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules, coordinates repair activities, ensures vendor relationships and contract management, and drives cost-effective maintenance strategies. The Manager is accountable for the facility maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs. The role also involves developing and implementing emergency response plans, coordinating responses to facility emergencies, and ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. The Manager is expected to apply technical proficiency in cold store maintenance, refrigeration system reliability, and knowledge of facility management software and building automation systems. Strategic leadership, teamwork, quality focus, business acumen, and digital literacy are key to success in this role.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and manage a team of maintenance technicians by assigning tasks, prioritizing work orders, monitoring performance, and developing and implementing training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration are functioning optimally and meet operational reliability standards.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships and contracts, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Develop, manage, and monitor the facility maintenance budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost control measures, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, coordinate facility emergency responses, and ensure readiness for incidents to maintain business continuity and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards, maintaining proper documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
- Utilize facility management software and building automation systems to monitor operations, schedule maintenance activities, and optimize facility performance.
- Apply technical expertise in maintenance and repair techniques, cold store systems, and refrigeration reliability to enhance operational efficiency and prevent downtime.
Experience & skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in facility operations and technical maintenance knowledge.
- Have 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance management with demonstrated expertise in managing building systems, cold store maintenance, and refrigeration systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in facility management software, building automation systems, and technical maintenance procedures for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- Exhibit strong team leadership, supervision, and training skills, with the ability to prioritize work, monitor performance, and motivate maintenance technicians.
- Possess knowledge of vendor management, contract administration, and cost control practices to implement efficient and cost-effective maintenance strategies.
- Show capability in emergency response planning and execution, ensuring facility readiness and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
