Job description
As the Staffing Coordinator for Kearney’s Dubai office, you will be responsible for managing the full consulting staffing cycle, aligning business needs with individual development plans. You will work closely with consultants across various levels, regional offices, and global teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and team utilization. This role includes responsibilities in capacity planning, proposal support, talent development, and performance tracking, with a strong focus on strategic staffing to support business goals. You will play a key role in fostering a high-performing and balanced consulting team while reporting directly to the staffing manager in Dubai.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and assign appropriate consultants to support all billable work within the unit.
- Consider availability, project type, scope, consultant skills, experience, development needs, and preferences when assigning consultants to projects.
- Reach out to other regions to import or export specific skills, based on global requests.
- Liaise with the HR team to align local resources with external contractors' needs.
- Liaise with HR and recruitment on in-demand skills and expertise.
- Integrate new joiners into the project flow and manage the pipeline.
- Work towards achieving and maintaining target capacity utilization through resource imports and exports.
- Update all staffing and availability information in the SAP MRS System daily.
- Enforce up-to-date CVs and expertise information in the expert tracker tool.
- Prepare and publish weekly staffing reports.
- Provide staffing data to HR to minimize vacation balances and drive utilization for non-utilized resources.
- Track and analyze timesheet compliance.
- Participate in global staffing calls and support staffing requests.
- Ensure implementation of global staffing guidelines within the unit.
- Assign consultants to non-billable work such as proposals and internal initiatives.
- Support pipeline development by assigning consultants to proposals and lead work.
- Work with HR to ensure consultant training completion and monitor development.
- Prepare talent reviews twice a year and inform HR in case of performance difficulties.
- Build and maintain credibility with consultants, principals, and partners.
- Identify project opportunities that align with consultant development needs and expectations.
Experience & skills
- Analytical background with ability to accurately forecast staffing requirements.
- Ability to match the right consultant to the right project based on needs and experience.
- Business sense with understanding of HR and Finance processes.
- Proficiency in scheduling methods and project-related procedures.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Office; Excel is a must.
- Strong accuracy with attention to detail.
- Master’s or undergraduate degree or equivalent educational experience.
