Job description
The Associate Manager - Foresight Research at Dubai Future Foundation will coordinate and manage foresight research projects that explore emerging and future technologies, policy and regulatory trends, and socio-economic shifts. The role involves managing research workflows, structuring methodologies, synthesizing data, and contributing to high-impact research that positions DFF as a global thought leader. It requires close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and global research networks, alongside participation in international forums and summits.

Key responsibilities
- Lead small to mid-sized research projects, ensuring timely execution, documentation, and quality control.
- Support the research team in structuring research workflows, from defining objectives to reporting findings.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring outputs are delivered on schedule.
- Collaborate with research teams to define methodologies, scope, and deliverables for initiatives.
- Support data collection, documentation, and synthesis of research materials.
- Conduct literature reviews, data collection, and comparative analysis across multidisciplinary topics.
- Support primary research efforts including survey design, expert interviews, and stakeholder engagement.
- Extract insights from policy papers, academic research, think tank reports, and industry studies.
- Build and maintain relationships with research institutions, think tanks, and technology partners.
- Attend and contribute to global foresight conferences, summits, and research forums.
- Support cross-sector research collaborations leveraging data analytics for future intelligence.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree with 4ā6 years of experience or a Masterās degree with 2ā4 years of experience in research and data analytics.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Ability to design and create high quality presentations.
- Strong public speaking capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Curiosity and consistency in staying updated on regional and international trends.
- Strong critical analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and team-oriented environment.
