Job description
The BIM CAD Manager will lead and audit BIM implementation across design and construction phases within a PMC environment. This role ensures consistency and accuracy in models, mitigates clashes, aligns digital models with project and construction objectives, and provides technical leadership for visualization and reporting. The manager coordinates multidisciplinary stakeholders, enforces BIM standards, and supports project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with program and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Establish and enforce project-specific BIM requirements including BEP, LOD matrix, coordination strategies, and data exchange protocols
- Audit design and construction models for consistency, geometry accuracy, clashes, file sizes, and BOQ reliability
- Coordinate BIM activities among design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate models with program and construction requirements
- Monitor model development progress and identify integration gaps
- Support project teams in extracting model information and creating visualizations
- Review reports on utility clashes, BOQs, and material specifications
- Present and explain BIM models, clashes, and sections to clients using Rivert and AutoCAD 360
- Attend coordination workshops to gather information for tailored project BIM strategies
- Audit BIM documentation and ensure smooth transitions across design, construction, and operational phases
- Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies
- Perform additional drafting or support tasks as required by line managers
Experience & skills
- BSc degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in infrastructure projects
- Minimum 3 years in a similar PMC team position
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex issues to diverse audiences
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent team working skills and productive, motivated attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work flexibly with willingness to learn
