Job description
The Hotel Manager role at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of an ultra-luxury hospitality property featuring private pool villas and high-end guest services. The position oversees and coordinates all major hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Health Club, Food & Beverage, and Culinary through respective Department Heads. The role provides operational leadership aligned with the hotelās Annual Budget and 5 Year Strategic Plan, supports preparation of annual Operations Budgets, and ensures achievement of profit objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa, leading yield management initiatives across these areas, supporting redevelopment and capital projects from an operations perspective, and ensuring full implementation of all Raffles Standards. The Hotel Manager plays a key role in labor management, productivity maintenance, health and safety culture, accident prevention, guest complaint resolution, follow-up on guest feedback, and change management initiatives. The role functions as a core member of the Hotel Executive Committee and Leadership Team, acts as a hotel culture champion, and assumes the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, while working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth hotel operations through coordination with Department Heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Health Club, Food & Beverage, and Culinary
- Provide leadership and motivation to hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest-oriented service
- Direct operational activities to ensure compliance with the Annual Budget and 5 Year Strategic Plan
- Provide coaching, leadership development, and goal setting for department heads
- Assist in preparing the annual Operations Budget and achieve defined profit objectives
- Ensure accurate achievement of monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa
- Lead yield management initiatives for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa
- Support redevelopment and capital projects from an operations viewpoint
- Ensure implementation and delivery of all Raffles Standards
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and follow-up actions effectively
- Assist in labor management and maintenance of productivity levels
- Promote and lead a strong culture of Health and Safety and accident prevention
- Act as hotel champion and culture leader in committees and initiatives
- Serve as a key member of the Hotel Executive Committee and Leadership Team
- Lead change management initiatives for Rooms and Food & Beverage
- Assume General Manager responsibilities during absence
Experience & skills
- Have extensive operations management experience in Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa operations
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of budget planning and budget execution
- Hold a post secondary diploma or degree in hospitality
- Show a proven record of coordinating multiple departments to achieve targeted GOP, EES, and Health & Safety results
- Be comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules
