Job description
As a Cloud Solution Architect in Cloud and AI Apps at Microsoft, you will lead strategic AI engagements, guiding customers through their AI adoption journey while designing and delivering intelligent applications using Azure, GitHub, and Microsoft’s AI stack. The role involves influencing senior stakeholders, driving app innovation with modern development practices, removing technical barriers through architectural reviews and MVPs, and promoting AI adoption across industries in Qatar. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and partner teams, represent Microsoft in technical communities, and contribute to reusable intellectual property while ensuring solutions align with enterprise governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Architect and deliver intelligent applications and AI agent solutions using Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Engage with C-level executives, enterprise architects, and business leaders to align technical solutions with strategic business outcomes.
- Drive the design and implementation of cloud-native applications using modern development practices, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Lead architectural reviews, proof-of-concepts, and MVPs to remove blockers and accelerate deployments.
- Identify opportunities to increase Azure and GitHub usage through enablement, skilling, and optimization.
- Represent Microsoft in technical communities, conferences, and workshops, sharing best practices and insights.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and partner teams to deliver innovations and contribute to reusable IP.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as architecture, consulting, or solution delivery.
- Proven experience with AI/ML technologies, especially deploying AI agents and LLMs.
- Technical certification in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) and/or security certifications preferred.
- Strong development background in .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript/Node.js.
- Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, including security, compliance, and governance in regulated industries.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Azure, AI, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
