The Senior F&B Supervisor (Restaurant Operations) role within the Food & Beverage function at Emaar Hospitality Group in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences within a highly empowered hospitality environment while representing the brand throughout the entire guest journey from welcome to farewell. The function focuses on ensuring flawless dining service that delights guests and transforms them into loyal fans of the restaurant experience. The role requires overseeing restaurant service operations and ensuring that all Food & Beverage service activities are conducted in accordance with established service standards and operational procedures within a five-star hospitality environment. The Senior F&B Supervisor monitors operational workflows within the restaurant environment, analyzes operational requirements, and assigns resources accordingly to maintain efficiency and service quality during dining service periods. The role involves conducting shift huddles to ensure seamless communication between service team members, promoting effective coordination and operational readiness throughout service periods. Responsibilities include delivering on-the-job coaching and training to restaurant team members while providing constructive performance feedback both during and outside of service operations in order to maintain high standards of service quality and hospitality professionalism. The position also focuses on guest experience management by preventing service issues, addressing operational challenges proactively, and implementing service recovery procedures where necessary to maintain positive guest satisfaction outcomes. The role requires continuous communication and collaboration with fellow hospitality ambassadors while maintaining a strong customer focus and ensuring that the interests and expectations of guests remain the highest operational priority. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Oversee restaurant food and beverage service operations to ensure all operational tasks are executed in full compliance with established restaurant service standards, hospitality procedures, and luxury five-star dining service expectations.
- Analyze restaurant operations during service periods by evaluating workflow requirements, allocating staff resources appropriately, and coordinating team assignments to maintain operational efficiency and high-quality guest service delivery.
- Conduct shift huddles and operational briefings with restaurant service teams to communicate service expectations, coordinate team activities, and ensure seamless communication across service staff during dining operations.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and structured staff training for food and beverage team members to strengthen operational capabilities, improve service delivery standards, and support continuous professional development within the restaurant team.
- Deliver constructive performance feedback to team members both during operational service and outside of service periods in order to support staff development and maintain high service quality standards.
- Prevent guest complaints by proactively monitoring service quality and restaurant operations while ensuring prompt service recovery procedures are implemented when service challenges arise during the guest dining experience.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with fellow hospitality ambassadors across departments to maintain operational coordination and ensure that guest interests remain the primary focus during all restaurant service interactions.
- Support a performance-driven hospitality environment by maintaining operational discipline, reinforcing service standards, and ensuring that the restaurant team consistently delivers flawless dining experiences from guest welcome through farewell.
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of four years of professional experience within the hospitality industry with demonstrated involvement in restaurant operations or food and beverage service environments.
- Hold at least two years of experience as a Food & Beverage specialist in a supervisory position or similar leadership role within a five-star hospitality or luxury hotel restaurant environment.
- Possess a minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma with preference for candidates holding a college degree in Hotel Management or a related hospitality discipline.
- Demonstrate strong operational knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, restaurant service standards, and hospitality operational workflows within luxury dining environments.
- Show ability to conduct on-the-job coaching, provide staff training, and deliver structured feedback to restaurant service teams to support continuous improvement in service performance.
- Demonstrate capability to monitor service operations, analyze restaurant workflow requirements, and assign staff resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
- Show practical experience in preventing guest complaints and implementing service recovery procedures when operational issues arise during guest dining service.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate proactively with hospitality colleagues and operational teams while maintaining a strong guest-first mindset throughout the dining experience.
