Job description

Cognizant seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Test Analyst with 3 years of software testing experience to design, execute, and maintain test plans ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. The role analyzes business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test cases; executes manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments; identifies, documents, and tracks defects using tools like JIRA or similar and leverages test management tools such as TestRail; collaborates closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues; applies testing methodologies including Agile and Waterfall; utilizes automation tools such as Selenium and Postman (as a plus); and operates with a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
